The Library

The library is a precious haven where one can escape the chaos of the everyday world for one of quiet, learning, and imagination. The gentle hush of turning pages and the soft murmur of footsteps create an atmosphere of contemplation and wonder that is a canvas for one's mind.

I wanted to evoke the sanctuary of a library in this lovely, complex candle. It carries a heavenly aroma of tobacco and honey with a hint of spice. This is followed by a heart of sandalwood and tobacco leaves, and finally a base of amber, tonka beans and patchouli. It will bring you thoughts of old books and big leather armchairs.

This scent comes in three varieties for you to choose from:

• 180mL (150g) amber apothecary jar with silver lid - Over 30 hours burn time
• 100mL (75g) silver tin with lid - Over 18 hours burn time
• 50g Wax melt snap bar - very long lasting hot throw

All our candles are hand made in Edinburgh, Scotland with a coconut and rapeseed blend of wax (free of soy and paraben) and the highest quality fragrance oils. After curing for two weeks, your candles will be packed in eco-friendly packaging (only recycled paper when possible and no plastic).
