About Me

I grew in British Columbia, Canada, in a tiny town far in the north called Tumbler Ridge. The winters there last six months of the year and the temperature would reach to -40C. When I was 12 my family moved to Nanaimo on Vancouver Island which is on the West Coast of BC.
This region of Canada is in an area called the Pacific Northwest as is known for its outstanding beauty and rugged climate.

It includes breathtaking snowcapped peaks, dense impenetrable pine forests, and pristine wild coasts. It's winters are days of rain and slate gray skies and summers are hot and sunny.
I moved to Edinburgh, Scotland in 2020 and though I love it here I do miss the beauty of the Pacific Northwest.

I started making candles because I needed a new hobby that allowed me to keep my hands busy and make something that wasn't baked goods (it was lockdown so could no longer give friends and family blueberry muffins).
My favourite scents are those that remind my of nature, particularly forests and rugged landscapes.
I hope you enjoy and find beauty in these candles as much as I do.
