About the Candles

Every Black Bear and Pine candle is hand-poured in small batches using a blend of coconut and rapeseed wax. We love this wax because it burns cleaner and longer than paraffin, holds fragrance beautifully, and is made from renewable crops. The result is a candle that performs wonderfully and consistently, is safe to burn, and doesn't leave any soot marks on your walls or ceilings. 

We use only high quality fragrance oils, selected for their complexity, clarity, and clean burn. Each fragrance is tested thoroughly and balanced to ensure the hot throw is as good as the cold throw. 

As a small local business, I prioritise sustainability. All candle components are sourced within the UK, and as much as possible we're plastic-free in our materials and packaging.
